The first look of Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji in the upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ was revealed on Tuesday. The film revolves around his character’s infatuation with the Rajput Queen Padmavati, portrayed by Deepika Padukone, and also stars Shahid Kapoor as Padmavati’s husband Maharawal Ratan Singh. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is scheduled to release on December 1.
